Digital collage at the edge of body and world, where mountains breathe like women, and women disappear into mountains. I make images that ask your eye to look twice. A mountain that breathes. A figure that dissolves into a lake. A silhouette so small it makes you aware of the enormity around it, and inside it. This is nature as a way of seeing. Not a style, a vision, not art, evidence.

The revelation

Nature forms arranged until they become something else entirely, a ridge of mountains that is also a sleeping figure, branches that resolve into hands, a flight of birds that traces a face. The landscape hides what was always inside it. The eye discovers, then cannot unsee.

"I don't hide figures in nature. I reveal what nature was always made of."

The dissolving

 

A body, model, figure, silhouette, bleeds into the tones and textures of the scene around it. She doesn't disappear. She becomes indistinguishable from what surrounds her. The human and the elemental share the same grain, the same shade, the same breath. This is not absence, it's return.

 

"She didn't fade. She became the mountain she always resembled."

The infinite

 

A tiny silhouette, centered, precise, casts a shadow longer than seems possible, across what the eye first reads as open landscape. Then it shifts: that landscape is skin, or stone, or the curve of a form so vast the figure becomes a traveller inside someone else's body. Scale collapses. Intimacy and immensity exchange places.

 

"She stood so small against herself she finally understood her own size."
